The Institute for Information Technology and Advanced Computation - is Ireland's largest and longest running strategic research programme in computational science. Established in 1999, this Higher Education Authority PRTLI funded research program has enable significant research in the fields of biomolecular and physical sciences and visualization - with a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration. Funded under the Programme for Research in Third-Level Institutions (PRTLI), Cycle 1 and Cycle 3. The Institute is run and administered by the Trinity Centre for High Performance Computing.
